We want your thoughts at our May online meeting! What issues - whether at the local, state, or national level - are troubling you most? What programs would you like to see us offer the community in the coming year? What fresh ideas do you have for how we might engage with and serve citizens, especially as we return to mostly in-person events later this year?
We know our activities in the coming program year, beginning August 2021, will include the current redistricting process and a discussion of the local One Book, Stamped: Racism, Antiracism, and You. But the floor is wide open for other programs or events that intersect with any of the League’s public policy interests, which include
all aspects of representative government and voting rights
natural resources and the environment
social issues including equal opportunity, housing, healthcare, child care, human trafficking, violence, and more
and international relations.
