Candidates for Rutherford County School Board District 2 and 3, will have an

opportunity to introduce themselves and respond to a moderator's questions on a

timed basis at one forum on the evening of Wednesday, June 5h being held at

the Rutherford County Historic Courthouse on the Murfreesboro Square

beginning at 6 PM.

The forum will be hosted by the League of Women Voters (LWV) of

Murfreesboro/Rutherford County in conjunction with cooperation from the

Rutherford County TV (RCTV), THE RUTHERFORD COUNTY GOVERNMENT

ACCESS CHANNEL.

The public is invited to attend in person or watch live on RCTV.

The public should be seated 10 minutes prior to the start time. There will be no

admittance once the forum is underway.

To ensure an impartial and welcoming environment for all candidates, no

campaign materials (t-shirts, buttons, signs, etc.) are allowed.

A question pool was developed by the League of Women Voters and all candidates

will be asked to answer the same questions. There will be no audience

participation during the forum.

League policy is to offer forums for all contested elections in which a majority of

candidates agree to participate.

Election Day is August 1st, with early voting scheduled from July 12 - July 27
