More about the candidate data on VOTE411

Local League volunteers have been reaching out in this election year to more than 70 local candidates, inviting them to participate in VOTE411.

While the online voting tool shows all candidates for each applicable district or zone, not all candidates have yet participated by answering a few questions.

If a candidate you know hasn’t yet participated, please tell them you’d like to see them more fully represented! Let them know they should have received an email or letter from the local League, or to reach out to VOTE411@lwvrutherford.org to get started. We will continue to update the guide up until election time.

We will continue to update this page with forum recordings.

For official voting information, including the early voting schedule and locations, see election.rutherfordcountytn.gov.

Watch our forums to learn more about the candidates

One way that the local League traditionally serves the community is through our candidate forums that are produced in cooperation with our local governments.

All forums we were able to hold for the August 2022 election, including City of Murfreesboro and Rutherford County offices, are shown below.

Unfortunately, we were unable to offer forums for races in which a majority of candidates did not agree to participate. The following page on our website explains our forum policy. For each race, it also clarifies each how each candidate responded to our forum invitation.
