The community is invited to attend "State Legislatures Shaping the Nation: Tennessee Law and National Civic Culture," a dialogue on the role state legislatures play in forming national attitudes, how decision-making in Tennessee serves as a national role model for conservative action, how Tennessee redistricting will reshape federal government, how other state voices in Tennessee can be heard and respected in a super-majority state, and where impartiality and nonpartisan perspectives can be represented.

Panelists will be Shanna Singh Hughey, President, Think Tennessee; Justin Owen, President & CEO, Beacon Center of Tennessee; and Hedy Weinberg; Executive Director, American Civil Liberties Union of Tennessee.

The event will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, September 13, at MTSU’s Tucker Theatre. The event will also livestream at mtsu.edu/live.

More details are about this event and all of Constitution Weed are in the poster below and on the MTSU American Democracy Project page.
